One evening last week both kiddos were running fairly high temperatures.  So we snuggled on the couch and watched movies.  I don't like seeing my kids feeling poorly, but I sure do enjoy the snuggles!

Moo!

Chick-Fil-A had a day recently where you received a free meal if you came in dressed as a cow.  So we dressed up and really enjoyed a free dinner out as a family.

Our little cows :-)

Gramma and Grampa

In May Gramma Karen and Grampa John came to visit us from Colorado!

Daddy grilled some yummy dinner one evening!

Outside with Daddy and Grampa watching the grill.

Jonathan must have had something interesting.

We enjoyed a trip to the zoo.

And saw lots of animals!

Kellen had fun too!

Post snack time!
A bear - Grrrrrr!

These are my favorites!  Capybaras - they are the world's largest rodent.  Aren't they cute though?!?!

This guy about scared me to death!  He was walking on the path under the railing, and right when he was underneath me he turned toward the railing, beating his chest and yelling.  I jumped wayyyyyy back!

Thank you for coming to visit us Gramma and Grampa Wedding!  We love you!

Lots of Pictures!

Wow, I can't believe it's been five months since I have blogged!  So here you have a long photo catch up from the past few months of our lives.  There are so many pictures I am not even going to try to put them in chronological order ...

I just love watching his sweet little face as he is peacefully sleeping!

And here are some not so peaceful faces - are my kids the only ones that fall  apart and hang on my legs screaming while I am trying to get dinner on the table?  So I decided they could scream in the living room one day, and scream they did!

I walked into the kitchen one day and found Jonathan laying on the counter, peacefully coloring.

I couldn't resist snapping this photo one Sunday afternoon when I caught him in my shoes :-)

Kellen was excited to receive a birthday box from grandparents!  She loves her Eyore!

A friend made this growth chart for us and I love it!  We mark the kids heights on it every few months, and then if we ever move we can easily take it with us!

Vroom!

Fun with Daddy!

We received a box of hand me downs from friends, and this was Jonathan's favorite outfit - Thomas the  Train undies and a red hat.

J got to sit in a helicopter at a local Easter egg hunt!

Jeff built us a farmhouse kitchen table.  I love it!  It still needs some sanding and finishing, but we are using it in the meantime with a plastic tablecloth over it.  He has also made a bench for one long side, and has plans to make another bench in the future.

I love this picture!  Jonathan's hair cracks me up!

Kellen finally cut two teeth at 14 months old!

The extra tall, child proof gate was no challenge for our little guy :-(

Cool AC on a HOT day!

Jonathan and his friend Lynden checking out the turtle that wandered into our yard.

I love this breakfast!  Coffee and homemade whole wheat pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup - mmmmmm mmmmmm!

My husband knows me well.  I would much rather have a candy bouquet for Mother's Day than flowers :-)

In May we traveled to TN for a family reunion.  From there my sister-in-law and I continued on to KY with the kiddos to spend two weeks with my parents.  As you can see, the DVD player came in very handy while traveling!

It has been so hot here this summer - we don't play outside much unless it's in the water.

Jonathan was very tired and had taken a very long nap one afternoon.  I decided that it was time to wake him up, so I opened the door, turned on the light, turned off the noise machine, and he was still sleeping soundly.  Kellen decided to help me and put this toy on his face - he didn't move a muscle, LOL!

Smiley girl!

Fun in the water and sun!

I think he was a little too big for the baby swing.  But boy does this little guy love him some water!  He is fearless and has even gone down some big people water slides!

Carousel ride with Daddy!

Jeff built this beautiful end table for the living room.  I love how it turned out!

Our little thumb sucker!

We have been looking for a mantle the last two years, but have been unable to find one we like.  Everything was fancier than what we were wanting.  So my awesome husband made us one!  And I really like how it turned out!

Kellen's hair can't seem to decide if it's going to be curly or straight.  But this day it was definitely curly!

One evening I decided put the kids outside in the wading pool after dinner, thinking they would play in the clean water and wouldn't need a bath before bed.  Jonathan didn't last long in the pool, but loved the dirt!  We definitely had baths before bed!

We loved having our cousins come for a visit!

This little girl has become.....

quite a ham!

I think her big brother has been giving her lessons on how to be silly :-)

We are so thankful God placed these two little ones in our family!

Bed heads, lol!  I think this is when we decided Jonathan needed a buzz cut for the summer.

This is what we call a redneck kiddie pool!  After playing in the tub for a few days early in the summer, we decided a real kiddie pool would be a good investment.

That's all for now!  I have a few more posts I'm hoping to put on here soon.
