Kellen Rebekah, you turned one this week! The past year has absolutely flown by and it seems like only yesterday we were heading to the hospital to have you. Then we were gazing down into your tiny little face, counting your itty bitty fingers and toes, and praising God for placing you in our family! Happy birthday sweetheart! We are looking forward to celebrating you this weekend when Daddy is off work. We are going to have a simple and quiet little family party. We will post pictures soon of you enjoying your cupcake and ice cream!

* started on solids again (we tried them at 8 months, but they caused you some major constipation problem so we quickly stopped them) at 11 months and you did great this time!
* love to eat, and eat A LOT of food for such a little bitty girl.
* enjoy being awake and having the house, toys, mommy, and daddy all to yourself on the rare occasions that you are awake while your big brother is sleeping.
* have recently been playing a fun little game with your brother, where he will say, "ah" and you will answer back with your own, "ah". The two of you love to do this back and forth, over and over again in the car. And you have now started doing it at night after you have both been put to bed. Your bedrooms are right next to each other, and the two of you will yell "ah" "ah" "ah" back and forth, with giggles thrown in every now and then. It is super cute and sweet and makes us smile and laugh!
* don't have any teeth yet, which makes for the biggest and cutest gummy grin!
* eat carrots, peas, green beans, applesauce, sweet potatoes, chicken, butternut quash, cauliflower, pears, avocado, pancakes, zucchini, lentils, cheerios, yogurt, etc. You recently tasted a few little bites of banana bread and really like it!
* weigh about 16-17lbs (that's a guess, I will have to update after we go to your one year well child checkup) and are 29 inches.
* wear mainly 6 month and 9 month clothes, but have been wearing some of your cute 12 month clothes lately even though they are a little big.
* are wearing a size 3 diaper.
* have tiny feet (those sure didn't come from your Mommy!) and are wearing size 1-6 month Robeeze type shoes.
* love to sing with your brother and love the song If All the
Raindrops were Lemon Drops and Gum Drops (especially the part that goes Ah ahhh ahhh ah ahhhh ah ahhhh ah ah ahhhhh ahhhhhh!).
* are not walking yet, but I think you might walk pretty soon.
* love your brother!
* have developed quite a temper lately!!!! And turn red all over when you are mad!
* love your daddy and say, "da da da daaa daa da da"
* enjoyed seeing lots of relatives recently on the Vickers' side of the family and your Aunt Sarah on the Wedding side. You would LOVE for more of the Weddings and the Ogans to come visit you anytime (hint, hint, hint!)
* have stayed very well in the nursery the past few weeks.
* still nurse 4-5 times a day.
* are sleeping 7pm til 6-7am.
* love to say, "hi!" and "bye" while waving.
* are a good little traveler. You have been in the car seat a lot the past two months, going to Texas and back two weekends in a row, and then taking a long road trip to Kentucky.
* pucker up and give sweet (and slobbery) kisses.
* are drinking out of a sippy cup with assistance.
* are starting to get some more hair and it doesn't look very red or curly (I was really hoping for both red and curly!).
