Honeymoon Day 3

We spent the 3rd day of our honeymoon hiking at Arches National Park. It was a beautiful day, the sky was very blue, and the weather was great!

The rock formation behind Jeff is Park Avenue

These little rock formations are called "cairns". They are used as trail markers. I thought they were really neat, and after the previous day's off-trail adventure, I faithfully kept a lookout for and followed the cairns.

The 3 Gossips are behind my right shoulder.

Don't worry, I will!

Enjoying a little rock climbing

Faithfully staying hydrated!

Arriving at the top of a short uphill hike - Are we done yet?

This is at the viewpoint spot for Delicate Arch. Delicate Arch is seen here behind Jeff's left shoulder, way across the canyon. A couple we met here encouraged us to do the longer hike up to Delicate Arch - so Delicate Arch, here we come!

Cairns are our friends :-)

Lots of Cairns marking the trail!

It was well worth the hike - Delicate Arch was beautiful!

Me and Jeff

The little spot underneath the arch is me.

Jeff was trying to get me to do a weatherman pose :-P My finger is on where we were previously, at the Delicate Arch viewpoint.

Jeff scaring me by climbing up to a little perch.

He was in no danger, I promise!

Delicate Arch is huge! In the first pic it didn't look that big, but with ya'll in the picture it really puts it into perspective!
