| Our sweet baby girl! |

| You love your thumb! I love how you are holding your blanket with your other hand, and I also love your brothers little foot in the picture ;-) Jonathan loves helping me get you up from your naps! |

| You are a squirmy, wormy, wiggly, rolly, moving machine! I put you on your back in the middle of the mat, and found you a few seconds later like this! |

You have such a sweet and joyful disposition. You love for people to smile and talk to you :-)
Kellen, you ...
* are wearing 3-6 and 6 month clothes.
* wear a size 2 disposable diaper.
* look long and narrow to me, but I am not sure how much you weigh or how long you are. I am trying to get you in for a well baby check soon.
* learned to roll from your tummy to back and back to tummy a few weeks ago.
* love to bring broth legs up towards your head, then kick them down - you do this a lot when you wake up from naps.
* are very content, sitting in your bouncy seat or laying on the floor playing with toys.
* are starting to get a bit attached to Mommy and Daddy, and have started crying when we hand you to others.
* went on your first road trip in early June, 10 hours to Kentucky. You did very well, but seem to have a strong dislike for being in your carseat after dark.
* eat every 3 hours during the day, and every 2 hours in the evening. You go to bed between 8:30-9:30, wake around 5 to nurse, then go straight back to sleep until 8-9 in the morning.
* still a big time thumb sucker! Mommy thinks it is funny that you will often take breaks while nursing to stop and suck your thumb for a few seconds, then will continue nursing.
* went swimming and don't seem to care much for it yet. Maybe the water was too cold?
* have lost most of your hair, and are quite bald. We are curious to see if it comes back in with the reddish tint you were born with.
* think your Daddy is WONDERFUL (and Mommy wholeheartedly agrees!)
* are a bit drooly at times.
* love to pull up your shirts to chew on them.
* have started smiling and squealing at your brother, especially when you are both in your carseats.
* are now sitting instead of laying in the stroller, and we think you will probably sit on your own early.
* are very generous with your smiles, but are stingy with your laughs. You don't seem to be very ticklish and we have to work hard to get a laugh out of you. |
