I am way behind blogging about our busy summer. So I am going to try to do a few summer catch up posts.
Kellen is growing up so fast! She is loving this new toy - sort of a mix between an exersaucer and a jumperoo.
Big brother thought she needed LOTS of stuffed animals to play with :-) Doesn't our kitchen look lovely with our patch up jobs? The hallway and bathroom look just as lovely - we really need to do some painting sometime soon!
She loves this hanging/jumping/thing too! We can only use it when big brother is napping though, because he thinks it is a swing and that she needs him to push her!
Some of our cousins came to visit for a few days and we had a blast! Older cousins are great helpers and tons of fun! We read books,
played at a nearby church with an awesome indoor tube room and toddler play area,
went to the zoo,
and gave sweet hugs :-) Thank you cousins for coming to visit, we loved having you!
Our friend J. turned 4 and invited some friends to celebrate with him at a nearby kiddie amusement park. It was Jonathan's first time on any sort of ride. This flying rocket type ride was a little too much for our little guy - he looked a bit frozen and fearful for the duration of the ride. I was very thankful he was riding with an older friend!
Jonathan loved the cars though, and rode them 4 or 5 times! This is the only picture I got of the birthday boy, and you can't even really see him - he's in the backseat of the red car.
The carousel was fun too! Gramma was there with us and Jonathan enjoyed riding with her! Oops, I took the picture a little too soon :-P
